Chiek Nulzevenéén is a fat chicken that wonders the earth. Its shape changes continuously and every artwork is unique. The stickers are mostly designed with help from my artist-friends so every sticker-edition has a different style. I also do a lot of graffiti.
It started 5 years ago, I was always doing graffiti but a character is more recognizable so I decided it was time to make a change to streetart/stickering.
Because you can paste them all day, everyday. Always carry them with me and when I find a nice spot, I claim it. But the best part is walking home drunk from the party and just fill streets with them.
Here are always people that are amazed by the person “behind the sticker”, I usually don’t tell people but when they see me pasting one and recognize it, sometimes it give you a kick.
I was in Thailand and in the Mac Donalds my character was recognized by a guy who lives in Holland too. Coincidence or not, it made my night even better.
There is definitely a subculture, I recognize people by their character or sticker, I don’t even know their real name but because you have a common hobby, they feel like friends.
The decoration of your city can feel liberating, to add something to the streets wich are static mostly is a beautiful thing to me. Seeing other stickers in my town, makes me happy.
I’d love to do sculptures or make/install public statues, I was thinking hydrophobic art, art with moss…. Oh I have so many ideas.
The farthes place… that would be south-east Asia. I did a lot of work in Laos, Cambodia, Thailand an Malaysia… had a blast there. Daytime painting and bombing everything…
Be positively inspired by others but DON’T BITE or SNITCH. There is no excuse for that.
REHF and Saip Sole are friends of mine who like to make their hands dirty stickering too…
REHF, he’s always in for good quality art/bombing/photographing/urban-exploration etc.
I’d love to thank my mom for always supporting me and…..ah what the hell…. Close your computer, live outside!!!! GO GO GO.
