I have been doing this for 8 years. It started after watching the street art movement in the mid 00’s and becoming inspired.
Easy way to convey information. None threatening. No one cares you are doing it, so you can do it pretty much anywhere.
When I first starting putting stickers and paste ups up I put a screen printed “shit” over the work of graffiti artist / sticker guy Tempo in Birmingham. Got into a feud with him. Had people messaging me saying that they were going to kill me. It was funny. I found it hilarious.
Stickers have no culture because they come under the arm of anyone that wants to portray a message out i.e – bands, adverts, clothing, children, hobbyists, artists, vandals
I do consider it art if what you are doing changes something. If you make people laugh, question something or whatever, it is art no matter how basic it is.
Fake classified adverts with a phone number on that I can record the calls.

Be prolific. Make hand made as well as print outs. Don’t be scared, no one actually cares.
