01. How would you define fokawolf?

I would define Foka Wolf as an alternative information stream. I chose the name because it is offensive on 2 levels –
a. The inclusion of the word “fxxk”
b. It is the name of a nazi war plane.

02. How did all begin? How long have you been with this?

I have been doing this for 8 years. It started after watching the street art movement in the mid 00’s and becoming inspired.

03. Why do you attaching stickers?

Easy way to convey information. None threatening. No one cares you are doing it, so you can do it pretty much anywhere.

04. An interesting anecdote?

When I first starting putting stickers and paste ups up I put a screen printed “shit” over the work of graffiti artist / sticker guy Tempo in Birmingham. Got into a feud with him. Had people messaging me saying that they were going to kill me. It was funny. I found it hilarious.

05. How do you see the sticker culture? Is there really subculture?

Stickers have no culture because they come under the arm of anyone that wants to portray a message out i.e – bands, adverts, clothing, children, hobbyists, artists, vandals

06. Do you considerer this movement like an art? What do you try to transmit with this?

I do consider it art if what you are doing changes something. If you make people laugh, question something or whatever, it is art no matter how basic it is.

07. Anything new in mind?

Fake classified adverts with a phone number on that I can record the calls.

08. Farthest place where do you have gone? Where would you like see your stickers?

The Queen of Englands personal toilet, because that would be funny.

09. Some advice for the people are beginning in this art?

Be prolific. Make hand made as well as print outs. Don’t be scared, no one actually cares.

10. Someone who had been a reference for you?

Keith Haring
Gary Baseman
Steve Powers
