Voxx Romana is a Latin phrase that literally means the voice of Rome. To me it means, Artists are the voice of our society and our society is like the romans’ where we are desensitized and entertained by violence in a coliseum of television and media. I uses it like an underground stripper’s pseudonym, representing the voice of discontent in a corrupt society.
I’ve been drawing all my life. When I started skateboarding in middle school, I spent a lot of time on the streets. That is when I fell in love with street art. Ive been making art under the name Voxx Romana since 2007.
Stickers are a great weapon! Fast and easy to put up and even easier to conceal. I think a street artist should use all the tools available to them, and stickers are usually a good starting point.
Almost every night I go out, I have a good story to tell.
You can always brake things down into subcultures. Street art today is becoming more main stream and that is making it an even more powerful tool to get a message a crossed or just beautify the world! The evolving of it really exciting and I feel we are the next generation of innovators and evolution of street art!
Yes it is art! Street art is an important form of expression to me because it gives my images the power to speak for themselves, wordlessly impacting lives and promoting thought or change within the world. You could say that’s my mission, his voice, his inspiration.

I can find inspiration in almost everything. I get really inspiration from traveling and experimenting with ideas and mediums. I also watch a lot of documenters and read to learn anything I can. I look at WW1 and 2 propaganda poster and vintage materials and collect all my ideas in sketch books. Whenever I need ideas or inspiration I open an old sketch book.
