Well, I would say Im all about casual doodles that sometimes happen to be on stickers. The name is just something stupid I came up with when I started a Instagram. Looking back I probably should have come up with something cooler but I cant change it now. I can be uncool. No problem.
I used to draw alot when I was younger but for the last years I had kind of forgotten about it. Its very easy not to draw. On the job I had at the time we suddenly got these label machines that were used to print addresses and if you just pushed the button a blank label would come out. So when I saw that blank label I thought : I should draw on those and put them up here and there. So I did that and I never stopped. That was 2013 I think. I wasnt really awere of the sticker scene. It just seemed like a fun thing to do.
As I said I found stickers by a happy accident but I like the idea that the drawing has some purpose after the drawing is done. One of the reasons I stopped drawing I think is that I would mostly draw on old newspapers cause i like that soft crappy paper feeling and when the drawing was done I would go: oh nice and then throw it away. A sticker can go on its little journey after its been drawn.
No, not really. I met some wierd people asking what Im doing. This one time I put up a sticker with a simple face on it. Very easy to see what it was. And this guy came up to me and started giving theories to what it resembled. Everything but a face. A dog, a fruit you name it. He was funny.
Well yes. You have a small group of people doing similar thing. Its a small subculture. There are these small stickershows all over the world. Its small but its there.
Some of it is art I guess. A nice drawing of anything can be art. Some of the people out there are making amazing things on stickers so yes, it can be art. Im just trying to have some fun and keep the childish part of my brain alive and maybe some one else can enjoy it to. I enjoy seeing images in the city that are not there with the purpose of selling stuff. Most images we see are there to make us buy thing so some stupid doodles here and there cant hurt.
Not really, keep drawing stuff. Make collabs with people from around the world is alot of fun. Keep coming up with silly faces.
I´ve never been outside of Europe with my stickers but they have been shipped worldwide. I like to see my stickers in all places. Especially places I´ve never been and maybe never will go to. Its alot of fun.
I dont know. Have fun, do what you like and try to be original.
Comicbooks that I grew up with probably. Robert Crumb, Simon Bisley and Mike Mignola would probably be the holy trinity for me. Simon Bisleys “Lobo” is eternal.
I would like to suggest Tuma Virus.
I would like to say hello and thanks to all the people on instgram that are following. Everybody trading and collabing. The guys and girls of TTT and my family and girlfriend. And I would Like to say hello to my daughter if she somehow reads this in many years. Daddy loves you! You´re the best!
